Starr Regional Medical Center to host third annual Christmas Tree Lighting

Starr Regional Medical Center (SRMC) will host its third annual community Christmas Tree Lighting event Tuesday, November 30 from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. The event will take place on the Athens campus, located at 1114 West Madison Avenue.
"Christmas is a season of joy and hope, a time for celebrating with family, friends and neighbors," said John McLain, Chief Executive Officer of Starr Regional Medical Center. “We are honored to host a Christmas Tree Lighting for the third consecutive year on the Athens campus. It is not only a celebration of the season, but also a time to celebrate our local community. We look forward to kicking off the holidays together.”
In addition to the tree lighting, which will take place at 6 p.m., participants will enjoy Christmas carols sung by members of the Athens Area Council for the Arts, a visit from Santa and seasonal treats such as cookies, hot chocolate and cider. The event is free, and everyone is invited to attend.
