Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation

A rehabilitation specialist assists patientStarr Regional Medical Center has been working diligently over the last several weeks to prepare for and respond to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We are taking every necessary precaution to minimize the risk of exposure, and as part of our efforts, we are rescheduling all non-urgent outpatient visits, including our Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab programs. Additionally, this is in accordance with the Tennessee Governor Bill Lee's mandate that hospitals reschedule "any medical procedure that is not necessary to address a medical emergency or to preserve the health and safety of a patient." We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and want to assure you that your care – and your overall health – is very important to us.

Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab, offered by Starr Regional Medical Center, are medically supervised and educational exercise programs, where patients are monitored through telemetry during exercise. These programs are tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
