Starr Regional Medical Center will host its monthly Healthy Community Group lunch on Wednesday, June 21 at noon on the Etowah campus, which is located at 886 Highway 411 North, Etowah.

Terrie Ruff, LMSW, social worker for Starr Regional’s geriatric behavioral health program, Senior Care, will present “Caring for Loved Ones Diagnosed with Dementia” as June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. The Healthy Community Group is open to anyone interested in learning more about health-related topics and services. The group meets the third Wednesday of each month, with the exception of July, November and December, and alternates between Starr Regional Medical Center’s Athens and Etowah campuses.
