Starr Regional Medical Center Recognizes Nurses for Clinical Ladder Achievement

Nurses receive recognition for clinical ladder achievement

Starr Regional Medical Center announced today the recognition of members of its nursing staff who have successfully completed the hospital’s Clinical Ladder Program, an initiative designed to promote professional development while recognizing advanced clinical expertise and excellence in patient care.

The Clinical Ladder Program provides registered nurses with opportunities to expand their knowledge, enhance leadership skills, and advance their practice through education, evidence-based projects, and demonstrated clinical competency.

“It is an honor to recognize our nurses for their unwavering commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth, which is essential to delivering high-quality, safe patient care to our community,” said Deborah Vaughn, RN, MSN, Chief Nursing Officer at Starr Regional Medical Center. “Healthcare continues to evolve at a rapid pace, and our nurses play a critical role in meeting those changes head-on. Through opportunities like our Clinical Ladder Program, we are proud to support our nursing staff as they expand their knowledge, strengthen their skills, and advance their education—further reinforcing our commitment to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.”
