Dr. Hutcheson is a native of Georgia, and attended West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with honors. He was president of Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Pinnacle Health Systems in Harrisburg, PA, in 1991, then served as chief resident from 1995-1996. Dr. Hutcheson started a private practice in August of 1996, providing services to Cleveland, Athens, Etowah, and surrounding areas for over 17 years. He is currently an active member of the AOAO, and is board certified in Orthopedic care. His professional focus is in general orthopedic care with emphasis on joint replacement and operative/non-operative spine. Dr. Hutcheson is married with two children and enjoys the outdoors, bird hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He is a licensed pilot and enjoys flying for travel and recreation.
