Senior Care: Geriatric Behavioral Health
Call 423.263.3890Our geriatric behavioral health program is a secure unit for older adults, age 50 and older, who are experiencing psychiatric symptoms that require 24-hour acute inpatient treatment.
Typically, patients stay in our program for about 10 - 12 days. Our patients often have physical health concerns that must be treated in coordination with treatment for their behavioral health. Care is provided 24-hours-a-day by a multidisciplinary team of providers, nurses, social workers and activity/occupational therapists, under the direction and supervision of a psychiatrist, who addresses both the physical and mental health concerns of each patient.
Admissions are welcomed 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a week and we accept most major insurances.
