Patient Story: Starr Regional Health & Rehabilitation helped Linda get back on her feet
June 24, 2026On May 29, 2026, while training with a friend on the Eureka Trail, Linda suffered a fall that resulted in a broken hip. Following surgery performed by Dr. Michael Veale at Starr Regional Medical Center, she was transferred to Starr Regional Health & Rehabilitation to begin her recovery. Just three weeks later, Linda walked from the front door to a car without a walker, cane or hands-on assistance.
